ELEGANCE OF YESTERYEAR
Thyme Square, Old Town Spring’s most beautiful and relaxing area, was built in 1993, is located at Noble and Preston Streets, 1 block North of Main Street. Seven buildings designed in the Victorian style, decorated with lacy hand made gingerbread and painted in Victorian colors, are arranged in a picturesque, park-like setting. As you enter the grounds, crossing a small arched bridge, the pink slate path leads you to each of the individually owned shops, offering many services, including a Dance Studio, Soul Essence Center, Private School for special needs students.
In the center of the Courtyard stands an elegantly romantic gazebo, the site of many weddings over the past 22 years. The gazebo is available year-round for weddings and renewal of vows.
My beautiful reception room with full mirrored wall, creates an elegant and comfortable atmosphere for those important occasions. Ideal for wedding receptions, anniversary and birthday parties, meetings, school, club and professional groups and banquets. Capacity is approximately 50 guests inside the Hall for most events, more if you only require seating without tables.
We can provide recorded music using my CD’s or you may bring any special music that you want played.
You must provide your own Minister or Officiator. Please see my list of referrals, which you will receive at booking, for a Minister if you do not have your own
We also have additional tables for use on the lawn. (A tent is recommended for this type of event) This creates capacity for approximately 100 guests to our outdoor venue and is quite a beautiful sight.
You may choose your own caterer, or provide your own food.
All events held in Thyme Square are non-alcoholic, since we are not insured to cover use of alcoholic beverages on the premise. We do, however, permit the Bride and Groom their Champagne toast.
