USATODAY.COM Are you paying more attention to your dog or cat during coronavirus quarantine? You're not alone, survey shows.
Just a friendly reminder that we will be closed Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 26, at 7:30am. We thank everyone who gave the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom we have today. Thank you for your service. 🇺🇸
Some important information from our friends at Lee County Humane Society!!! Lee County Humane Society March 17 at 9:00 PM · Just a reminder that we want to take every step possible to prevent the spread of sickness. That said, if you are interested in adopting, please email us at lchs1140@leecountyhumane.org to set up an appointment. And if you have a stray or owner surrender, please try to hold onto them as long as possible or check out our re-homing options on our website. We also still need fosters for our babies! Dozens of tests have been done and show that cats and dogs cannot contract COVID-19. While practicing social distancing from people, consider snuggling with an adoptable pet or two! Fostering saves TWO lives at once. If you'd like to foster, please apply on our website or email foster2@leecountyhumane.org. Thank you for your help in keeping our staff and animals healthy and please continue to wash your hands and use social distancing to further help the situation!
We would like to take a moment to address the extra precautions we are taking and temporary procedures we are enforcing effective immediately to help minimize the spread of coronavirus. Our goal is to stay open to serve your pets needs while at the same time doing our part to keep our pets and pet parents as safe as possible. Please be patient with us as we navigate through these difficult and highly dynamic times. As of this time, we will be conducting regular office hours (Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm). With that being said, please take note of our practice changes below: 1) We are offering a concierge service to minimize foot traffic in the clinic. Please just call once you arrive and we will gladly come to the car to retrieve your pet. 2) We are spacing appointments to every 30 minutes to allow for time to make the concierge service work, as well as allow for ample time to sanitize and disinfect all surfaces between patients. 3) If you or a family member are feeling ill or running a fever, please be courteous and stay home (unless it is an emergency). 4) Please limit all non-essential procedures such as baths, nail trims, etc. 5) If you need medicines refilled please call and we will bring them to your car and arrange for payment. Thank you for your support and understanding during this unprecedented time. Please stay safe and follow all recommended national, regional, and local government guidelines in your area.
