Geauga Public Health, UH Geauga, and the Geauga County Fairground Board are collaborating to provide influenza vaccinations to Geauga County residents at a drive-up flu vaccine clinic on Saturday, November 7th from 9:00am to 4:00pm at the Geauga County Fairgrounds. The clinic will end early if we have distributed all available vaccine so we encourage you to arrive between 9am and 1pm if possible.
The flu vaccine clinic is for adults only as it is a drive through process and we would need to have children get out of the car, something we want to avoid. Also, we currently do not have the high dose vaccine recommended for seniors.
It is especially important to get the seasonal flu shot this year. It will help to reduce the risk of getting the flu as well as reduce risks of potentially more severe responses if someone were to become co-infected with the flu and the virus that causes COVID-19.
We are fortunate to have such good partnerships and access to resources as we do here in Geauga County!
