However, the global pandemic has really shined a light on the importance of handwashing, meaning this day now carries extra relevance, even though it has been around since 2008. #GlobalHandwashingDay

Meet our Lifestyles Department, Casandra and Jillian!
Casandra is our Director of Lifestyles: I have been with TT for two years, and this is the most enjoyable job I have ever been in. I love getting to know the residents. I enjoy helping them continue to do things that they love, as well as finding new interests. At home I enjoy spending time with my family, doing crafts, playing video games, reading, and learning about anything and everything. Before I lived in MN I was born and raised in New Mexico. I have two funny little girls, two cats, and a boyfriend. Volunteer work is what I truly enjoy doing. I have worked with a non profit dance company that encourages mixed ability dance, an elementary school with high poverty levels, and assisting various elderly individuals with running errands and tasks. I was a Girl Scout for 12 years before volunteering as an assistant leader. I also assist small businesses with branding and other tip/tricks as I used to own an online jewelry shop.
Jillian: I started work in June. The thing I like most is listening to their stories and being able to bring a smile to their faces. I'm an avid reader and I enjoy working with my hands. I'm a trained goldsmith and enjoy bookbinding, sewing, jewelry making, and learning new skills. I love that my job lets me use my creativity in lots of new ways.
