My philosophy of patient care and the reason I chose to practice primary care is centered around developing authentic relationships. When a physician and patient develop a strong relationship this leads to them working together as a team to achieve their best health. Although trained in the art of western medicine, I truly believe the secret to health lies in ancient and natural practices that do not require a prescription, namely, exercise, nutrition, mindfulness and spirituality. I am passionate about helping patients formulate a sustainable plan to engage in these three art forms for the rest of their lives. When these practices fail to achieve the results we desire, there is a place for modern medicine, but hopefully only as an adjunct to these natural paths of health.
