Our Tribe Member of the month for October is Caroline Claus! Caroline is the Assistant Manager at Tito's Ridgewood and has been with us for almost a year and a half. She is known for her positive attitude and customer service skills, and is always willing to go the extra mile for the Tribe. There’s little doubt that 2020 will go down as the most challenging year ever for most of us. We don’t need to remind you all of the reasons why, nor do we want to bring up all of the negative. Rather, we’d like to focus on the good, because at Tito’s Burritos & Wings, “It’s All Good!”.
Although indoor dining in our restaurants has not been an option for most of the year, Tito’s has continued to serve fresh and tasty meals for take-out and delivery and because of your support, we have been able to maintain our normal business operations and keep all of our employees working, while also enabling us to continue to pay our suppliers and purveyors, our service providers and landlords, and all of the other businesses that keep Tito’s running every day.
Together with you, our loyal customers, we launched the Tito’s Sponsor-A-Meal Program and were able to provide over 5,000 meals to front line workers and first responders at eight Northern New Jersey hospitals. (Obviously the need to take care of these heroes still exists, and if you’d like to participate, please go to https://www.titosburritos.com/sponsor-a-meal/). In addition, we donated almost $9,000 to local food insecurity initiatives, over $2,000 in funds to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, and supported other important causes to us like the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer research and NJ Special Olympics.
We’re not trying to toot our own horn here; rather, we’re simply trying to let you know that thanks to you, we’ve managed to survive and even thrive during these challenging times. It is not a cliché to say we couldn’t do it without you. After all, we’re a restaurant business, and without our customers, we are nothing.
