Happy early Christmas to Colfax! We have some new green friends in the neighborhood. Today a 6ft Black Hills Spruce and at 12ft Princeton Sentry Gingko was planted by team members from TNT Landscaping on Colfax City Councilman’s Brad Magg’s properties in Downtown Colfax. The spruce tree will be Colfax’s future Christmas Tree, but for now will be our ‘Christmas Tree in Training’ until it gets bigger. The gingko tree is on Walnut St. and is a prized ‘street tree’ variety because of its columnar form, small leaves, and salt and pollution tolerance! We’re excited for our district to be a little more green and shady come next spring! TNT Landscaping
