Our old Trane AC/Heating system had nearly reached the end of its life. Todd King reliably maintained the system for several years, and we discussed with him replacing it with the latest and most energy efficient system. We had several questions about newer technologies, their efficiencies, and their suitability for the size and design of our home. A meeting with Todd was easily arranged where he gave informed answers to our questions and provided advice on changes to improve air flow. Based on Todd’s information and our good prior experience with his firm and past performance of Trane equipment, his employees removed the old system and installed a Trane 4 Ton Split-System Seer 19.2 compresser, air handler, and new metal air supply and return ducting. The change-out went smoothly despite rainy weather. We have had no issues with the operation of the new system and no difficulties setting the new smart thermostat. My AC completely died and I needed an entirely new unit (and gas furnace). Todd King was highly recommended by a friend. Todd was very responsive with quick call-backs, despite it being the middle of summer and an extremely busy time for him. He took the time to ask thorough questions regarding my needs and concerns, and then presented a few different options to me, including a two-speed compressor option, which I selected. The install went great - his work crew was very experienced and highly professional, and they paid extreme attention to detail. The job was absolutely “done right”, on time, and at a fair price, and throughout the process I never felt pressured or rushed. The unit has been working beautifully, and the multi-speed setup does an excellent job of keeping the humidity levels of our home at ideal levels, and as an added benefit it is saving money on our electric bill! Todd King's Heating & Cooling put in two different a/c & heating units last year in our home. Right from the start, we knew we would be sending a 5-Star testimonial about Todd's professionalism. We have waited a year to give an accurate review of the systems themselves. We have been more than satisfied with the two systems that Todd recommended and purchased.
System #1: March 26, 2019; A new 12,000 BTU Mitsubishi mini-split, with a heat pump, was installed in a newly renovated sunroom. This system is meeting all the needs for cooling and heating. A big bonus is that it didn't increase our electric bill! It helped take the draw of power away from our preexisting cooling & heating system.The unit was installed in an efficient location and with an eye to aesthetic appeal. We are extremely pleased.
System #2: July 29, 2019; A new 2-1/2 ton Trane Split Heat Pump SEER 15.25 was installed to replace our failing 12+ year old a/c & heating unit. It has been working efficiently and meets all cooling and heating needs. Our electric bills went down throughout the year (even with the heating portion!), even during this really hot summer, the electric bill has been way down from last summer. Again, we are extremely pleased.
