Tomorrow I present to my group of local professionals that meet each week to help grow, develop, and learn together. I present on culture in the workplace. There’s so many aspects of culture that I could touch on that help us define what that means but there’s one that stands out most. People, is what creates culture. It all starts with a vision and builds everything on the people that live and breath that vision each day.
The Harvard Business Review outlines six main components that define culture. Vision, values, practices, people, narrative, and place. I can’t help but think that it all comes down to the human element and just how connected we are within that environment. I’ve never met a happy customer who is currently working with a terrible employee, but more often than not, I find endless amounts of happy customers with an employee that is well taken care of.
I consider myself lucky in a lot of ways, but I couldn’t imagine where our agency would be without these two, Traci and Schaefer. I owe them the world in more ways than one. I think it’s worth me saying publicly just how thankful I am to have them as part of our team. These two are the foundation of our agency and the success we provide in properly protecting our customers lives is due to there dedication and hard work.
The world is a complicated place nowadays but each day I remind myself, we’re all in this together.

We opened our doors two years ago. Thank you all for trusting in us and allowing us the opportunity to grow into our own dreams. Most people don’t know that all State Farm agencies are independently owned and operated. That makes us unique and that is why we are here. Our pride grows that much more each day and we couldn’t be more excited to keep climbing mountains with our community.
