It’s National Oral Health month
and we are talking about
plaque! In our last post
we went over how plaque
feels on our teeth 🦷, but
now we want to go over
what happens if we don’t
jump right on it.
Plaque contributes to dental decay, as bacteria like
to consume the sugars in
your mouth and chip away
at your tooth enamel.
When plaque starts to
build up it can hurt your
teeth. That’s why we emphasize regular cleaning
at home and coming in for
regular check-ups! Make
sure you have your kiddo’s
next dental check-up

Our office decided to get in the spirit of Halloween this week. All our costumes were inspired by patients like you. Now we are challenging all of our clients to dress up in their best dental-related costume 😷🦷( get creative )! the gumline. It accumulates from normal daily
activities such as eating
and drinking, especially if
you’ve been consuming a
lot of sugars and starches.
Woah, that’s a whole definition! Have you ever had
that fuzzy feeling on your
teeth that goes away after
you give them a good
brush? Yup,that’s plaque!

We want to celebrate our dental hygienists during oral health month. They are an awesome addition to our staff and bring extensive knowledge and skill to our staff. All of our kiddos get to see one of them every time they come to our office.
💕Meet Kelsee! She has been at Tooth Town for 9 years and LOVES working with kids. Her favorite part is getting to know the patients and their families. She tries to always help them feel welcomed and comfortable at the dentist. 💕

Kambree has been a hygienist with Toothtown for 6 years. Her favorite part of being on our team is helping kids overcome fears and anxieties that inevitably come with being in a dental office. “It’s amazing to see the kids overcome obstacles and get through things that are hard for them. I love celebrating the victories with them no matter how small!” She loves the patients like they are her own.
