TCK9 is a learning institution dedicated to educating dog owners, teaching them how to communicate properly with their dogs. This will ensure a healthy, happier dog and owner relationship. Through decades of educating dog owners all over the United States, we realize that 95% of problems with our dogs start with us. Yes that's right, most problems are because of us. So we teach people how to communicate more efficiently with their dogs. By doing this we can eliminate those problems.
Our program was designed by an Ex K9 Police Officer who has imported, trained, certified, and worked on the streets as a K9 officer. He has trained and sold dogs to police departments and has been training dogs for over 30 years. So what does that mean to you? Well, that means our program has Real World applications. What does real world application mean? Simply put, NO TREATS. We don't bribe our dogs. Can any of our K9 Police Officers, or Military K9 Officers carry a bag full of treats to give to their dogs every time they ask their dogs to complete a task. No! These are some of the most highly trained dogs on the planet. The methods that they were trained in don't include treats. So why do so many civilians feel the need to discount the methods given to us by the proud and fearless dog teams that protect our country here and abroad.
The theory is sound and proven. It works from the biggest to the smallest, and TCK9 has produced many happy teams using these same techniques. From the smallest house pet, or the high energy competition dog, to our dedicated police dog. It Works. Again the secret is Balance. Balance between correction, redirection, and praise. It's a team effort. When you're in the military and you do something that affects the team in a negative way, there is a consequence. It might be 50 push-ups. If you do something that affects the team in a positive way, there is a reward. It might be a pat on the back, a letter of commendation, or a promotion. We will show you that Balance.
