As the Sun rose, the Angles came for Oscar as he passed this morning. We will miss our father of 95 years and the founder of our family business, but were blessed to have him in our lives so long. The funeral will be private on Friday. It was his wish that donations be made to Beth Abraham and St. Jude in his name. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts at this time for our family.

I want to thank everyone for your kind words and prayers for our family during this time of grieving. Our mother was a force and the light in this world. We will try our best to carry on Claire’s example in our lives using her memory lighting the path. I am sorry for those of you who have lost your dear friend and hope that you can cherish your fond memories of Claire. Thanks again for you have helped comfort us.

Town & Country Furniture will be closed tomorrow (Tuesday) for our mother’s funeral. Claire Sherman Soifer passed away on Friday December 11th less than 2 months after the passing of her soul mate of 73 years, our father and founder of Town & Country Furniture. We will be reopen Wednesday morning 9:30AM.
