It's not the plastic water bottle that causes the most harm to sea birds, but the cap which is mistaken for food. TRAC is thrilled to support the B.E.A.C.H project, which collected 1.2 million plastic caps and lids from the Hawaiian coast and transported them to California to be converted into low sulfur oil. We are happy TRAC could play a role in this important initiative.
