We kicked off October with a SMASH! K-6 students participated in a STEM project which concluded with a 50 foot pumpkin drop from a Whitetown Fire Department ladder truck. Today, the results were released and Tabyas was voted this week’s IndyStar Player of the Week!

Mrs. Nakatsuka’s PLTW class, Human Body Systems, dissected a cow's elbow to observe the joint structure and movement.
The formalin smell was really strong, and some of the students had to really wrestle with the joint to get it to move into standing position. Junior Tennye Mylin, especially, got a work out!
