TOMORROW! Councilwoman Rebecca Viagran and women from across San Antonio will host a special flyover to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the women’s suffrage movement and the ratification of the 19th amendment. Three female pilots will lead the flyover starting at Stinson Municipal Airport and travel throughout San Antonio.

The Charro rodeo which takes place 3/4-mile from Travelers World RV Resort is worth a visit. It is scheduled for April 18 and April 25, 2021 as part of our Fiesta celebration. Here is a short clip of what you may see. There is an admission fee.

This week we are highlighting several of our Participating Member Organizations that celebrate the diverse heritage, culture, and spirit of San Antonio.
We're kicking it off with Asociacion de Charros de San Antonio.
Asociacion de Charros San Antonio is the oldest Charro association in the United States. They aim to preserve the skill of charreria, a centuries-old tradition and educate future generations and the general public.
It is one of the only Charro Associations that is non-profit striving to maintain a tradition that is well over 200 years old.
Their official Fiesta event, "A Day in Old Mexico Charreada" takes place on April 18 & 25, 2021. 🎉
