TRC’s Greensboro office was our first in the Piedmont Triad. Area vice president Wendy Hallman leads the Greensboro office, and under her leadership, it’s won TRC’s Branch of the Year award six times (1995, 2005, 2008, 2009, 2015, 2016).
We chose Greensboro because it’s one of the most desirable places to live and work in North Carolina, with scenic views and local attractions. The city, although famous for its local colleges, offers great opportunities for working individuals, too. Top universities in the area such as the University of North Carolina and North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University employ thousands, and there are at least 8-10 major firms in the city that are either headquartered in the area or have major offices nearby. That means numerous work opportunities are available.
Greensboro is home to numerous local breweries, unique cuisines, a thriving arts community, lakes for fishing and kayaking, and mountains for hiking. Greensboro also houses America’s greenest hotel, Proximity Hotel, which is the first hotel to receive the LEED Platinum Certification.
