As the owner of a tree company, the responsibility to your employees can be overwhelming. Using industry associations such as TCIA, ISA, and state associations, is indispensable when it comes to implementing your company’s safety program. Non-compliant operators do not have the same safety concerns and are mostly interested in running a business that avoids responsibility to their employees. This webinar will cover the importance of educating consumers and potential clients on why they should hire a professional tree company versus a non-compliant operator. TCIA is aware that there have been several reports recently of potential issues with tracked lifts. While TCIA monitors these developments (and as the incidents are under review by independent investigations), we want to remind owners to to keep up with their equipment's OSHA/ANSI-required inspections as well as any manufacturers' instructions for inspections. These include daily inspection and pre-flight checks by the operator. They often include recommended or required weekly and monthly inspections. Don't forget annual inspections, or other periodic inspections. You have to pay a qualified shop or inspector to look very carefully through the equipment for annual or periodic inspections.
