When Covid first started we had a few basements postpone so I took the few weeks off to build a backyard patio I’ve been planning for a while! It was nice to work on my own house for a change of pace. Maybe I should start a pergola business? It was a fun project!

Good news! Papillion has agreed to do virtual inspections on my basements! We do a lot of basements in the Papillion area and have come to know the inspectors well. We appreciate the trust they have placed in us so we can continue to work uninterrupted. I’m working on getting other municipalities to follow suit!

Joe is the real deal and I highly recommend him. His pricing was straightforward and the most reasonable of all the bids we had received. He was very responsive and easy to work with, and his subcontractors were also excellent. He kept things on track and moving very quickly (almost too quickly for my indecisive self- haha!). Our flooring vendor absolutely raved about Joe when we told them we were working with him, so he clearly has a great reputation in Omaha.
My husband and I are very pleased with the quality and look of our basement. I wish I could have Joe and his subs remodel the rest of our house!

With the forecasted rain of up to 1” on Saturday please make sure to dig out your downspouts and make sure your sump pumps are operating properly. With the frozen ground the rain will not soak in and run straight down foundation walls. This is a terrible scenario for foundations and will be causing a lot of issues, so make sure you do what you can to keep the water away from your foundation as much as possible.
