Heidi Erickson, MD opened Tri-County Center for Integrative Medicine in Delray Beach, Florida to provide healthy aging strategies to improve the well-being and quality of life for her patients. While working as a psychiatrist and emergency room physician, Dr. Erickson became increasingly aware of the toll that lifestyle, stress, nutrition, and activity level have on overall health and aging. Her goal is to optimize health using the most advanced techniques and tools available.
Dr. Erickson received her medical degree from the Uniformed Services of the Health Sciences - F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland after serving eight years in active duty as an enlisted member of the United States Navy. She then completed a combined residency and fellowship program in psychiatry, pediatrics and child and adolescent psychology. Dr. Erickson is board certified in psychiatry and board certified in pediatrics. She retired from active duty in 2011 after serving for 28 years.
She initially started her health-promoting practice offering bioidentical hormone-replacement therapy, a more natural hormone replacement option, to help women during menopause. But as her Tri-County Center for Integrative Medicine flourished, she expanded her treatment to include therapies for sexual health for both men and women and now offers GAINSWave® to help men with erectile dysfunction (ED).
Dr. Erickson takes a whole body approach to care. She not only manages physical health, but as an experienced psychiatrist, she focuses on mental health as well. She values patient privacy and time and offers a flexible schedule to fit your busy lifestyle.
