Our founder and my father, Lester Collins, did this particular kitchen for the same homeowners in 1986. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to work with them again, giving the kitchen and dining room a complete and updated makeover.

You know what has been a game changer in kitchen design?
Microwave drawers.
They allow you the flexibility to have a microwave installed almost anywhere. It can go in an island, a peninsula, above or below ovens, it simply offers the best workflow options. This particular micro drawer is installed flush into the cabinets which is EVEN better when you need every inch of walkway between your cabinets. Win-Win, that’s my tip for the day!

We vote a resounding “YES” to this kitchen remodel.
I just can’t get enough of this kitchen we designed with @durasupreme cabinetry. The white shaker cabinets are the staple here for sure, but it’s the striking ceiling, painted in faux gold that is undeniably the show stopped here.
We used the @mieleusa handles for the @subzerogroup_miami refrigerator. It just brings this kitchen to another level. The countertops are from @compacsurfaces in nebulous gold with an ogee edge...nope not a standard square edge for this beauty!

Despite how beautiful and well positioned they look, working with beams into this space proved to be a tricky detail that required a lot of coordination...just ask my installer 🤩. We’re thrilled with the end result. They were definitely worth the effort.
