Today, our residents and staff at Harmar Place received the COVID-19 vaccine - this community is the first in Washington County to be vaccinated. Patricia Vargas, Harmar Place Chaplain, Sue Boulton, Administrator and Dr. Daniel Cannone, United Church Homes’ Medical Director were among those who received the vaccine today. SEM Haven will be next to receive the vaccine on December 28, and more communities will receive it in the coming weeks.

Happy to take one for the team! Terry Spitznagel, UCH Senior VP and Chief Growth Officer, and Jeremy Lemon, Trinity Community at Fairborn administrator, are the first at United Church Homes to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. UCH is partnering with CVS to offer the vaccine to all staff and residents in its senior communities. More than 80 percent of staff showed up to get their first dose today at Trinity Community at Fairborn. Harmar Place will be next to receive the vaccine on December 23, and more communities will receive it in the coming weeks.

It was a red letter day at Trinity Community at Beavercreek, as there were plans to vaccinate 300 residents and staff at a COVID-19 vaccine clinic. Laura Farrell, Senior Executive Director, and Jack Carlson, a resident, kicked off the vaccine clinic. We appreciated the fun balloon arch created by Corrye Vaughan, sales counselor, for pictures from the day.
Since December 21, CVS has conducted COVID vaccine clinics at 7 United Church Homes senior care communities. Rev. Kenneth Daniel, our President & CEO, joined Fairhaven Community staff today who stepped up to be vaccinated to help protect our vulnerable residents.
