Loneliness and isolation have been a problem for many before the pandemic sent us into quarantine and the 6 feet of distance between us. Now that everyone has experienced new levels of isolation — and perhaps felt different aspects of loneliness — what can we learn about overcoming this global epidemic?
On Friday, Oct. 9, 2020, the Ruth Frost Parker Center for Abundant Aging and United Church Homes will present our fifth annual symposium — Power in Community: Overcoming Isolation and Loneliness. We have limited space for individuals to join the presenters at the Nationwide Conference and Event Center and unlimited opportunity for others to join and interact virtually.
