Troy Fire Department Troy Mich. March 21 at 6:43 PM · This weekend, the Troy Fire Department hosted a Vehicle Extrication Technician course taught by START Rescue, LLC. Troy firefighters trained alongside firefighters from Rochester Hills, Rochester City, Auburn Hills, and Oakland Township. This 20-hour class trains firefighters on rescuing victims who are entrapped in cars involved in accidents and focuses on advanced rescue techniques for cars and trucks that are overturned or on their side. A huge thank you goes out to Troy Auto Care for the donation of all vehicle transportation and several of the vehicles for this training, we could not have hosted this course without your help!
