if you are thinking of moving during the summer the forecast for inflation is over 2% and this will cause mortgage rates to rise!!!! It might be best to step up your plans a month or 2... :-)
it does appear the industry is moving the the 2.5 coupon, and if so this means rates will be mid 3s with the intent to move to high 3s.
don't let the rate be your only deciding factor. Get with one of your housing finance professionals to discuss you whole home finance and see if this is still a good time for you to look.
