I feel privileged to be a part of helping people make life changing decisions, whether selling or buying a home. Building those relationships that enable peace of mind during a time filled with emotion is what excites me every day. I love the creative process of finding the right home for a client, using my decorator’s eye to get a home looking magazine worthy, and guiding clients to see the potential greatness of a home waiting for their personal touch.
Licensed since 2014, I bring my experience in sales and recruiting, along with my related degrees from Tulane and the University of South Florida, to minimize the stress that can often occur in real estate transactions by focusing on communication and building relationships. Those relationships extend to contractors, lenders, leaders in the community, and of course, the relationship I nurture with each client. This is the cornerstone of my business: giving every client the thorough attention, understanding, and service they expect. Helping my clients make a home their own, assisting with all of their real estate needs well after the deal closes, is the foundation of my business philosophy.
So what is the most important thing I do? Is it understanding the market to sell your home as quickly as possible for the highest price? Absolutely - everyone should expect that of their real estate agent. And when I’m helping buyers find just the right home, you bet I’m uncovering every source for listings and bringing my neighborhood expertise to find the hidden gems that haven’t hit the market. All of that is a basic level of service for me. What I found was often missing when I was a buyer or seller of my own homes, was an agent’s ability to minimize my stress and uncertainty by bringing high-level people skills to the table. I often joke that I finally found the career that uses both of my degrees: Interpersonal Communication and Sociology, both a big switch from my pre-med dreams when I began as a Freshman at Tulane University. But those were my passions, and now, I use them every day in real estate. I believe it is my job to anticipate your needs and concerns, and address issues head on with grace and calm. When a speed bump appears, my philosophy in work and in life is, “how do we solve the problem?” It’s as simple as that! Real estate certainly brings out a lot of emotion, but it never has to be dramatic. That is the part that brings me the most satisfaction - helping my clients through the ups and downs to make it as painless as it is successful.
