History:
Started in 1990, TruePerformance began as an extension of the Indy car racing team of Truesports Racing, when associates took their experience as mechanics and managers for the team and applied it restoring classic and antique show cars, as well as historic and vintage race cars. We have evolved into a premium collision repair center that specializes in Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Acura and other luxury vehicles.
Certifications:
TruePerformance is the only Certified Collision Facility approved by Mercedes-Benz USA in Central Ohio. We are also a Certified Collision Facility for Volvo, Aston Martin, and Bentley. We are in the process of becoming one for Audi and Porsche. TruePerformance is certified with BMW and Rolls Royce training programs. Our estimators and technicians are trained and certified with I-Car, ASE, Chief and Cellette Frame Equipment, as well as Sikkens Refinishing Products.
Associations:
TruePerformance is a member of Sikkens Acoat Selected, an International Association of Collision Repair Shops. As a member, we are held to high standards in the areas of operations, finance, personnel, and customer service. Both our administrative and technical employees participate in training classes offered on a regular basis. We also participate in Customer Satisfaction Indexing. We are evaluated by a third party company called Phoenix Solutions Group. They poll our customers to detect areas of satisfaction or dissatisfaction with the repairs, the shop, and the insurance company.
Equipment:
Our estimators and customer service representatives use Mitchell, a computerized estimating system, which ensures accuracy and integrity when doing repairs to a damaged vehicle. Our painters use the Blowtherm System including three Blowtherm booths and a Blowtherm mixing box workspace which is ISO 9000 certified. Our body team uses the Cellette Dedicated Fixture Bench, the Caroliner Bench and the Chief Bench.
