A deep state of relaxation is possible and nearly inevitable after about 20 minutes in the Float Pod, as the brain begins producing large amounts of theta waves. This state of relaxation might be best described as a feeling of truly letting go. The best analogy for this state is when you wake up in the morning and fall back to sleep. This time of being partially awake will sometimes allow you to experience lucid dreams.

Finally tried it a few weeks ago at @truerestpbgardens, and this is not sponsored (love supporting local and trying new things!) though funny enough they’ve invited me for months and I put it off, a bit awkwardly nervous about the pod experience lol. Turns out you can keep it open, though I closed it and after a bit, absolutely fell asleep and woke with this renewed feeling. The pod is filled with 1,000 pounds of epsom salt and you really do float 😂, though I used a little neck support to relieve my internal drowning worry! I apparently took some video of my experience and it’s kinda hysterical - I was so zen and relaxed.... enjoy it on my stories! 😆 “
