We will start this weekly post with the spotlight on our Lancero loving partner Larry Butler. Larry is a Vietnam era Naval veteran who found his way in the civilian world taking on the roles of a computer programmer and technical analyst. When not wearing the hat of a tobacconist, he manages his privately owned company Butler Information Service specializing in low voltage service.
When you come by the shop you will find Larry smoking one of his favorite cigars, the Oliva V Lancero and the Pistoff Kristoff Lancero (a TCC exclusive!)
The environment of our special little shop is made possible due to the unique arrangement created by the partners, so stop by and say hello to Larry, thank him for his service, and check back in next week for our next spotlight.

This week we are showcasing Lynn Sullivan who has been enjoying the love of the leaf for the past 10 years. Before he picked up his first cigar Lynn spent time reading about how premium cigars were made leaving him with a deep level of respect for the product and a desire to take part in the culture.
When Lynn is not hanging out in our home away from home chatting with our aficionados from all walks of life, he is working in his chosen vocation of industrial maintenance and sales, which has kept clothes on his back for over 30 years.
The next time you see Lynn at the shop he will likely have either a Perdomo Maduro ESV or a Kristoff Vengeance resting in his fingers. Come back in and say hello and enjoy a smoke with one of our legends!

Tommy Dorminey is the consummate Cigar Aficionado with a vast collection of aged premium cigars so great that even Churchill himself would raise an eyebrow. While appearing quiet, Tommy is always ready to help our new, and experienced, customers find the cigars that fit their palate.
Tommy is also the Training Coordinator for Local 91 JA Center in Birmingham and Gadsden where he helps guide students on their path to become welding savaants. He is more than qualified for this role since first winning a welding competition in high school and the experience gained through his 20+ year career as a pipe welder.
You will usually find Tommy quietly relaxing at the shop with one of the numerous selections from our gigantic wall of Perdomo or cutting into a cigar from his enviable collection. Stop by and say hello to Tommy and ask what he will recommend for you!

This is Donny Mason. Donny considers himself a connoisseur of worldwide cuisine, and has been seen eating a meal with both Russian and Chilean brands of Elmers School Glue. While he enjoys eating glue abroad he says, “The best tasting glue, pencil erasers, and crayons are all from the USA!” We salute your patriotism Donny! In all seriousness, Donny is a UAB grad and served proudly in the United States Army with combat deployments to Iraq.

Finishing up our list is none other than the man behind the social media, Terry Wester. When the opportunity arose for Terry to get in on the cigar lounge action he jumped in with both feet because there is nothing better than being a part of the cigar loving family that is Trussville Cigar Company!
When not hanging out and entertaining the crowds every Sunday at the shop Terry leads several collision repair facilities, an industry that he has been part of since 1998. Terry is also active in the Masonic community and currently serves the Valley of Birmingham Scottish Rite as the SGIG Personal Rep and is a 33rd degree as well as a member of Zamora Shriners.
Come hang out with Terry in our custom branded “Blue Lodge Masonic Cigar Lounge” and smoke his favorite cigar the Oliva V Double Toro, ask him questions about modern collision repair, cigars, masonry, his kids, or hang gliding. Be warned, he will take every opportunity to steer the conversation in a direction that will make you shake your head and blush!
