John E. Willardsen, DDS, brings two decades of comprehensive dental implant and restoration experience to his role as a dental implant specialist at Trust Implants. Dr. Willardsen leads a skilled team in completing dental implants start-to-finish at two locations in Newport Beach and Redlands, California. He specializes in restorative dentistry of all types, including full mouth reconstruction, implant dentures, dental implants, prosthodontics, veneers, and other procedures that patients need to recover optimal appearance and functionality.
Dr. Willardsen earned his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Loma Linda, California. Then, he went on to earn his implant dentistry certificate at the Loma Linda University Center for Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Willardsen launched his first private practice in 2001, and since that time, he has continually pursued additional training, education, and skills to remain at the forefront of the implant dentistry field. He’s a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Academy of Osseointegration.
As a highly esteemed dental implant specialist, Dr. Willardsen is often asked to participate in lectures and presentations. He’s a medical educator who teaches the next generation of dentists at his alma mater, and his work has been featured in medical journals, including Implant Dentistry Journal and the Journal of the California Dental Association.
