Tube tech International's R&D department has invested in the Mark Forged X7 Series 3D Printer. Producing high-quality prototypes for the next stage of ‘our ROV revolution’ the X7 will not only help with cost reduction but more importantly allow us to control the quality of all components for the development.

Our team have been putting the new furnace to good use today. They’ve been testing the ROV 6 system ahead of going out to Holland next month to complete a cleaning job. We always test and prepare before commencing cleaning on site!
Our engineers have been busy building a furnace for testing and training our ROV fouling removal solution as well as our new robotic technology, which is currently in development!

NEW CASE STUDY:
We were recently contacted by long-standing client based in the UK. The power station was experiencing a build-up of ash and dust on its economiser, which was having a negative effect on its heat transfer efficiency and therefore electricity generation.
After identifying the type and level of fouling, we swiftly deployed six cleaning specialists to the site with bespoke cleaning technology, designed specifically for this job.

We have had a busy week at the office with our technicians taking part in a training week at our EU HQ in Rayleigh.
Topics covered included the setup and operation of our patented rover system, triple feeder training and the theory and practice of water jetting with an emphasis on health and safety.
We are committed to ensuring our staff are regularly trained and confident carrying out all aspects of their role.

NEW CASE STUDY:
We recently completed a job for a liquified natural gas (LNG) plant based in Nigeria, amidst the Coronavirus pandemic. With various travel restrictions and measures in place, we were asked to complete IRIS and Eddy Current Inspection of various heat exchangers at the plant.
A previous inspection of these assets had taken place five years’ ago, and with another due, it was crucial that a team was able to be mobilised at the earliest convenience.
As travel restrictions were eased, and with a small window to act, we were able to mobilise personnel and equipment to the site, in record-breaking time.

NEW CASE STUDY:
A plant in The Netherlands was experiencing heavy fouling of a convection section in its primary reformer furnace, as it had never been cleaned before. The stack temperature was recorded at 170 degrees Celsius, which was 30 degrees above the design stack temperature. This was reducing productivity, increasing CO2 emissions, and increasing running costs!
After careful planning, we deployed four teams of cleaning specialists. Two teams worked during the day and two at night to complete the cleaning within 48 hours.
We were able to access more than 95% of the surface area of the asset using our patented rover technology and deliver exceptional results for our client.
