Have you heard about the Cares Act charitable contribution to 501 (c) (3)? Basically it says you can deduct up to 300.00 from the above the line income. Normally you would deduct these amounts on a schedule A but for 2020, if you file standard deduction filing single, you can deduct up to 300.00 and 600.00 if you file standard deduction and are filing married filing joint.
