He is a certified wound specialist and the founder of the Tulsa’s first wound care clinic, which continues to treat patients today.
He began his medical career as an undergraduate student at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. He continued onto to Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Center for Health Sciences, in Tulsa, where he earned a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree. Dr. Haraway completed his postdoctoral training with a rotating internship and internal medicine residency at Oklahoma State University Medical Center. During his final two years there, he served as chief resident.
Dr. Haraway enjoys helping his patients learn about their health so that they can take an active part in making decisions about the best treatment options for their specific needs. When he isn’t working with his patients, Dr. Haraway is usually studying the latest treatments and spending time with his family.
