Another tricky scaffold set up.
Well, this is my TP Pipe pipe box I built in my Turning Point Woodworks workshop (that could be a tongue twister). I worked on it for two winters with this last winter being extended by the covid. Gave me some time to get it done. I’m still lining the drawers with fabric. I hate the job, so it’s taking a little longer than I thought. It’s also my busy season now, so hard to get around to doing it. Anyway, this box will hold 60-100 custom TP Pipe pipes. Box is made from around 25 different woods, and with a touch of mammoth ivory. Enjoy.

Rolling cart from old growth reclaimed redwood.
Got that darn bracket up this year.
Working on and off on this thing since June. It’s a one of two big Victorian brackets that hold up a structural awning over a window. I had to copy the other one, the original one that’s already there. I’m replacing the one that was totally rotted away. Again I had to go off of photos and my measurements. It should be pretty damn close. I made it from old growth redwood, but it’s still pretty heavy. Wish I didn’t have to install it. Gonna be hard. But what the hell, everything I do is hard.
Peace pole made by Denise and I (she did tiles, I did woodwork).
Client wanted her portico soffit repaired with a brand new upper railing system the way it looked when house was first built.
Used reclaimed old growth redwood for everything except the balusters which are mahogany.
Some new pipes this season.
A very time consuming railing project that threw me some real challenges to have it turn out right. Had to make it mortise and tenon not only for strength, but to fasten it securely to the floor. Several months after it was completed, I came back and painted the clients interior, choosing the colors to compliment his furnishings and the railing.
