Teaching your child proper brushing at a young age is vital to their oral health! 🦷
Top things to remember:
1. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and apply gentle pressure, both of which may help reduce the risk of gingival injury.
2. Place their toothbrush at a 45-degree angle against the gums.
3. Move the brush back and forth gently in short (tooth-wide) strokes, brushing the outer, inner and chewing surfaces of the teeth.
4. Use the tip of the brush to clean the inside surfaces of the front teeth, using a gentle up-and-down stroke.
5. Brush their tongue to remove bacteria and freshen their breath.

Dr. Stephen Boh is originally from Hopkinsville, Kentucky. He received his B.S. in Biology from Murray State University, and obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of Louisville in 2012. Following dental school, Dr. Boh served in the U.S Air Force, where he completed a one year residency program with advanced specialty training in all areas of general dentistry.
He then spent 3 years providing dental care for the Airmen stationed at Ft Bragg in North Carolina. Dr. Boh moved to the Nashville area in 2016, and not long after, began planning what would eventually become Twin Lakes Dental Care.
In his free time, Dr. Boh enjoys staying active by working out, playing golf, snow skiing, and chasing around his niece and nephews. He also enjoys traveling, reading, and is an active member at King and City Church here in Mt. Juliet.
