Two Sons Tip of the Day: Never put chlorine tablets for your Aerobic System in enclosed areas it is very corrosive always store in a dry ventilated area and please make sure you are using actual septic Tablets and not pool tablets, we always have them in stock you can come by the office and buy a bucket :)

Thursday Tip of the Day!!
Just Because it says it is Flushable does not mean it is going to breakdown once in your tanks. Flushable Wipes are not good for your aerobic system, examples are posted below even after months of being in the water they do not truly break down, you can see the 3 ply paper struggles also to break down but, does a better job than the wipes, try to always use 2 ply paper at the most. This will give more life to your system and also keep you from needing pumping's as often possibly from the wipes just sitting in the tanks.

Wednesday Tip of the Day:
Always make sure all parts of the system are easily accessible at all times (do not build over any part, use landscaping that could grow over, etc) the County requires you to keep your system fully accessible. Tuesday Tip of the Day: Be careful what you are flushing down your toilet we have a do's and dont's section on our website that can help a lot. www.twosonsseptic.net Flushing the wrong things can lead to backing up and messing up your water pump, that can be very costly! if you have any questions you can message us on Facebook or give us a call :)

Keep up with your Maintenance on your Aerobic System, it is required by the County to Carry a Maintenance Contract and it will save you money in the long run.
Fabulous Friday Tip of the Day:
Drip Aerobic Systems have to disperse the water in to the ground which can become very saturated if it is overloaded, so be cautious on how much water you use in a 24 hour period. spread out your Laundry throughout the week instead of saving it up, that goes for all systems.

Friday the Calm before the Storm!!! we have been answering a lot of calls today about what to do when it freezes I made a post yesterday I will copy and Paste it in this message to re read, you can always send a message through Facebook and I will answer you, anything after 10pm will get answered the next day.
Take care of your Pets and Plants and Stay Warm !!
We will most likely not be in the office on Monday due to the Freeze so message us if you have any issues, we can take emergency calls but it will be hard to drive anywhere if it ices over too bad so please keep that in mind.

Freeze Warning information: Please keep in mind your system could alarm during this time , pay attention to it don't wait too long to give us call and if your sprinkler heads are above ground they could freeze and if they are sitting at ground level and all pipes are under ground they should be fine, these temps are showing to be colder than we have had in many many years so it is to be determined on how bad it will actually get, I would suggest get all of your laundry done this weekend so if you feel better at night while your asleep when the freeze starts you could turn the system off till morning and then turn it back on so it will spray when it is warmer outside, this is just a preference but, if you do turn it off please do not forget to turn it back on before running water and doing laundry and showers and things, while it is off you can use your restroom just refrain from anything else till its back on, Keep in mind we are all not used to this weather so we have no idea how bad it will get or if it will even get that bad at all, we just want to make sure everyone understands.

We are currently experiencing high call volumes. The entire county is under several inches of snow with widespread power outages. Please stay home unless you are experiencing an emergency, and travel is absolutely necessary. Nearly all businesses are currently closed. Please Keep in mind if your spray heads are frozen and you know you can not get them off or thaw them you need to consider turning off the system until they thaw..please minimize water usage to bare minimum at that time. You can message for any questions!

Good Afternoon Everyone!
We have been getting a lot of calls the last few days we are doing everything we can to get to everyone as quickly as we can in this weather, If you do not have Power please let us know when you call, we can not fix anything until the Power is on, a lot of systems will have alarms going off once they come back on due to the systems being used still with some of the water you are running into it, the water has no where to go so the tanks are just filling up, so minimize usage until your power comes back on as much as possible so you do not have any backing up problems and you might have to silence your alarm and give it time to pump down.
We are taking care of calls today as long as we can get to them mostly in order they have came in since Monday and the severity of the call. If you have anything that is not an emergency please give us a call once this storm passes we can sure take care of everything normally by next week.
Thank you so much for your Patience and Please say a Prayer for all of the Linemen out there trying to get the power back up and our Technicians that are in this weather trying to make sure your septic is working.
