Dr. Sarah Krause and her team at Union Dental Group are looking for an amazing Dental Assistant to join our Dental Practice.
Our ideal candidate will have an energetic, positive attitude and a desire to make patients feel welcome and comfortable before, during, and after their dental treatment.
Prior Dental Assisting Experience Preferred.
Job Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and other equipment in compliance with OSHA standards and CDC guidelines.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
- Take patients’ medical history, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Provide patients with pre/post OP instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
- Take impressions of patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth)
- Send out and monitor lab cases.
- Chart/enter treatment into Softdent
- Help to ensure that the office stays clean and safe for our patients and the team.
- Assist the front office team with light administrative tasks.
