The Shores made Thanksgiving special for those that reside with us. The pictures below show the turkey art project we worked on. A copy of the in-room Thanksgiving BINGO we did with the prize basket. Yesterday morning we went room to room and delivered donuts and cocoa for the residents to eat while watching the Macy’s Day Thanksgiving Parade.

Feeling grateful for our community in Ocean City! Thanks to St. Peter’s Church, OC NJ Cares, and local students for cooking, packaging and delivering full Thanksgiving dinners, along with handmade Thanksgiving cards to each Wesley by the Bay residents.
This was so important and needed for the residents this year and we are so thankful for their generosity.
Last Friday, our junior volunteer, Mason surprised residents with beautiful Poinsettias. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at The Shores thanks to Mason's generous and thoughtful donation! 🙂

The Infection Preventionist has oversight over all infection control and prevention related activities within the community. The responsibilities encompass compliance with regulatory agencies, CMS, OSHA, state regulations, outbreak investigation, and overall direction of the infection prevention and control program within the community. The Infection Preventionist assists with prevention of healthcare-acquired infections (HAIs) by isolating sources of infections and limiting their spread; systematically collects, analyzes and interprets health data in order to plan, implement, evaluate infection control practices. This position is also responsible for screening, tracking, follow-up and recordkeeping of relevant health, safety and exposure data for all staff in compliance with all employment and regulatory standards.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
