After completing his undergraduate studies in biology from Wayne State University in Detroit, Dr. Pickett went on to graduate school. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Pickett then went through his residency training at United Health Services Hospital in Binghamton, New York, focusing on podiatric medicine and surgery, as well as diabetic limb salvage. As a board-certified podiatrist through the Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing, Dr. Pickett has extensive experience in severe and complex cases.
Throughout his career, Dr. Pickett held multiple prestigious positions at facilities throughout upstate New York. He currently serves as the section chief at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, in addition to holding a faculty position at Ellis Wound Care Center.
