While Dr. Fick is often recognized for the discovery of contact lenses in the 1800s, they were made from glass and quite uncomfortable. Carrots give you amazing eyesight, especially at night. Fact or Fiction? This idea was planted during WWII and it is true-- to a certain extent. While carrots are filled with vitamins and antioxidants to help you #maintain eyesight they do not actually #improve your vision or help you see in the dark. Eat them anyway!
