Ten years ago, Steve Drugan and Sue Bowlus opened the first community acupuncture clinic in Ohio. Their goal was to create a space that would make acupuncture more affordable and accessible so that people could receive treatments as often as needed. Since then, Urban Acupuncture Center has treated thousands of patients and has grown to offer a variety of healing modalities.
Today, we celebrate Steve and Sue, and thank them for their dedication to our community, and for establishing a sanctuary and refuge where people can come to heal.
