USA Karate Rosemount is excited to show our support of our communities by holding a fundraiser for 360 Communities! 360 Communities supports the surrounding communities with programs such as food shelves, school supplies, and violence prevention. We are asking students to set a goal of raising $100 in donations from family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors to support the fundraiser. 100% of proceeds will be given to 360 Communities! For every $10 raised the students will get to break 1 board at the fundraiser event on Saturday, May 18th. More details to follow. I've set a big Black Belt Goal of raising $10,000 but I need every student to participate with 110% effort! I know we can reach that goal! Fundraising sheets are at the studio! A little USA Karate history. Forty Five years ago today USA Karate’s Grand Master Gordon Franks met TaeKwon Do hall-of-famer Ramiro Guzman in Berlin, Germany to become the 1st PKA Super-Lightweight World Champion! GM Franks is a true Champion in and out of the ring!

With students starting to return to school in various formats, starting Tuesday, Sep 8th we will be implementing a revised class schedule. Please review as start times for your level may have changed slightly.

Way to set your goal to be a Black Belt or Advanced Black Belt! The first step to being a Black Belt is visualizing yourself becoming one!! If you haven’t turned in your goal setting worksheets you can text or email a photo to Mr. Seme.

Reminder, in accordance with the latest MN Executive Order, our karate classes will be virtual for the next couple of weeks. Great job today students working on sparring drills, weapons, and advanced weapons (and an occasional break fall alarm!). Your adaptability and continued determination is a great example of your Black Belt focus and never give up attitude!! Keep training!!
