New Jersey Minimum Wage Increase
Effective January 1, 2021, New Jersey’s general minimum wage will increase to $12 per hour. The minimum base wage for tipped employees will increase to $4.13 per hour.
The following specific minimum wages apply:
Employers with five or fewer employees: $11.10
Seasonal employers: $11.10
Farms: $10.30
Piece rate: $10.30
Direct care staff at long-term care facilities: $15
