Brian S. Parsley, MD, is an experienced and compassionate orthopedic surgeon in Bellaire, Texas. Dr. Parsley has been in practice for more than 25 years and completes 350 to 450 joint replacements each year. Dr. Parsley has dedicated himself to the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis in order to help patients get out of pain and enjoy life.
Dr. Parsley was born and raised in Houston, Texas, among nine brothers and sisters. He attended Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, for his undergraduate education before enrolling in medical school at McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas in Houston, Texas. After earning his medical doctorate, Dr. Parsley completed a fellowship at the Anderson Orthopaedic Research Institute in Arlington, Virginia.
After completing his fellowship and becoming board-certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Parsley relocated to the Houston area to open his practice in 1989. Dr. Parsley has aided in the development of joint replacement programs in numerous Houston-area hospitals and is a   faculty member of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. His main practice is located at the Memorial Hermann Orthopedic and Spine Hospital in Bellaire.
Dr. Parsley holds a position as an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at University of Texas McGovern Medical School. He also serves as the Director of the Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at UT. Dr. Parsley donates his time as a board member and volunteer in various organizations, including the John P. McGovern Health Museum, the Arthritis Foundation, Faith in Practice, a medical mission organization, and the Houston Haiti Recovery Initiative.
