Following the Massachusetts Dental Society's strong recommendation for all dental offices in the Commonwealth, we will be closing our office for the next 4 weeks (March 17-April 6). This is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff, patients and all those who interact with our office. This also allows infection control products to go towards necessary emergency efforts around the Commonwealth. Patients who have an upcoming appointment at our office can call or text us at 617-262-3737 or send us an email at office@drwelz.com We will be seeing patients on an emergency basis and Dr. Welz can be reached personally by texting our office phone at 617-262-3737. We will still be responding to emails and phone calls in these next weeks. Please let us know if you have any questions. Wishing you well, Dr. Welz and staff

The truth about toothpaste?! We don’t really need it! If you are experiencing unwarranted sensitivity, your toothpaste may be the issue. Try switching it out for plain water for 1-2 weeks and see if your sensitivity subsides (mouthwash or toothpaste on your tongue can give you the minty flavor we all love) Check out our blog posts (“The truth about toothpaste” or “Why are my teeth sensitive”) at drwelz.com/blog and our instagram page @dr.welz
