Foot Fact Friday -- Ever heard of an osteochondral lesion? This occurs when the cartilage within a joint is damaged and causes a deep injury to the bone underneath the cartilage. This can occur even with a minor injury. It was emotionally devastating for her as well as physically. She was completely put at ease after going to see these folks! These guys are a AMAZING! Every single person that works there, were not just good...they were GREAT! Friendly, kind, caring! They fit her in for when she injured it and for her surgery. Dr. Wilde was amazing and knowledgeable. You always here people say, the dr was good but his bedside manner was not. Dr. Wilde was incredibly kind and took the time to draw pictures of what happened, assure my daughter all was going to be ok, and was SO PERSONABLE. I just cannot say enough words about Dr. Wilde and his entire staff! I highly recommend them, not to mention their office was very warm and inviting!! In the fourth picture you can see the portal of entry that is the dark circular area, but the bullet traveled up to the point where the incision was made.
