Valley Glass & Windows is seeking an experienced Glass Cutter. Applicants must be hard working, reliable, have attention to detail and work with precision, take pride in their workmanship, and will preferably have experience as a glass cutter. Having a valid driver's license is highly desirable. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening. Wage dependent upon experience.
Glass cutters use specialized tools to cut glass and mirrors and are expected to work in a safe but timely manner to meet customer and fabrication demand. Rescreening, commercial metal fabrication, and other shop fabrication projects may be assigned. Position also includes general shop labor such as organizing and restocking materials and parts as well as assisting in other departments when needed, including occasional field work. Position requires working well with other employees in shop setting and will occasionally entail working with customers directly to ensure projects are done to their satisfaction.

Scheduled for 40 hour work week with plenty of overtime available.

Applicants must have 3-5 years glazing experience, be hard working, reliable, detail oriented, take pride in their workmanship, and have experience in the construction industry. Having a valid driver's license and owning necessary tools are highly desirable. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening. Wage dependent upon experience.
Glaziers and Servicemen perform glass installation and service work on commercial and residential projects and may also install shower glass in residential and commercial buildings. Glaziers and servicemen work regularly with project managers in house and on jobsites and occasionally have to work with contractors and residential customers.

COVID-19 Update:
Valley Glass & Windows, Inc. is currently keeping our doors open during normal operating hours. We are taking extra precautions, sanitizing all customer service areas every time a customer leaves the building. We've also increased sanitizing all building surfaces (doorknobs, restrooms, etc) to multiple times per day. Our employees are washing/sanitizing hands immediately following all interactions. If you prefer for your order to be left outside the building for pickup, we are happy to accommodate.
-We've also taken extra precautions by creating separate work shifts to reduce overall chance of exposure and any employees who become exposed to the Coronavirus or exhibit symptoms are quarantining themselves
-Employees who travel out of state or internationally will self-quarantine for 2 weeks before returning to work
-Our commercial work continues as normal (while employees practice extra cleanliness measures)
-Our residential in-home service work has ceased at this time to prevent any potential spread of the virus to customer's homes and to prevent undue exposure to our employees
-Meetings with outside salesman are happening remotely
