Dr. Sharma earned his bachelor’s and Doctor of Medicine degrees at Guru Nanak Dev University in India. He moved to the United States to serve his internal medicine residency at the prestigious Rutgers New Jersey Medical School’s University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey. Dr. Sharma went on to complete rigorous fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care at the same hospital.
Today, Dr. Sharma is board-certified in pulmonary medicine, sleep medicine, and critical care. He’s a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He has also contributed to several articles published in peer-reviewed medical journals. Currently he serves as the President of Medical Staff at Valley Hospital.
