A bit of historical perspective.

Most people that know me know that I am a big fan of history, especially the parts we don’t know that well or are not taught in the US. Our modern life is often impacted by our past, and we would do well to remember and learn from history. So I was looking through some old newspapers, this one dated 11, Nov 1918 and noticed this article lower on the front page. The big news of the day was that President Wilson announced the terms of Armistice of The Great War in Europe. This particular article could have been written today really over the Covid scare. I wonder how divided the people were then, I wonder if there were mask protests, or Trillions of dollars in stimulus. The article seems to indicate that neither happened in great quantities. My point is maybe this. Why not wear the mask in public places, get back to work, get back to your lives, and much like 100 years past, this will end... and also be forgotten and lost in history. Wear a mask and carry on.

Our favorite holiday is once again upon us, and while we know and understand the hard times that so many are having right now in this most challenging year, we will get past this. Remember, our country was literally founded by those who valued independence above all else, it is our greatest strength. And... shameless self promotion... We do wear masks when working in customer’s homes, and in our customer waiting / checkout areas, and when within 12 feet of our customers. We follow all CDC guidelines here at valueGLASS.
We also respect those who disagree with and choose not to follow CDC recommendations or government mandates. We understand the division that exists today, and are aware that every issue has become political.
We will make every effort to serve everyone and their concerns, and as always are open to any suggestions on ways to better help our community to get through these trying times.
