Update - we are OPEN!
There's a lot of misinformation going around, so here's a couple things to consider:
Both the Department of Homeland Security and Colorado's department of regulatory agencies have said chiropractic is an essential service. Chiropractors are allowed to see patients in acute situations and pain.
If you are worried about the virus, the smart thing to do is pro-actively do things that will help you get as healthy as possible. Chiropractic care will help you reduce stress, reduce aches and pains, and help support your immune system.
You are allowed to leave your house to go see your doctor and then go back home. Our office is very clean and safe. We clean the tables and equipment after every patient and Dr. Trevor washes his hands after every patient. We maintain social distancing of 10 or less people.
Coming in to our our office is safer than going to the grocery store, liquor store, or pot store and getting adjusted will help support your body's health during a time when you want to be as healthy as possible.
Don't neglect your health during this time. Be proactive and take care of all the different areas of your health so you give yourself the best chance of not getting the virus, or if you get it fighting it without complications.
If you need to get in, give us a call at 303-794-8754 to get scheduled.
A message from Dr. Trevor:
Dear patients and community,
I hope you are doing well.
As a health care provider that can help during this time, my chiropractic office will continue to remain open. Most states view chiropractic services as an "essential business" that can remain open, so unless something changes, we will continue to serve our patients and the community.
During a time like this, chiropractic care is an excellent choice to help keep yourself healthy. It helps with aches and pains, helps reduce stress levels, and helps support immune function. During this time, make sure you are doing your part to remain as healthy as possible.
At this time, the risk of coming to our office is extremely low. We are compliant with the social distancing recommendation of 10 or less people. We are consistently cleaning equipment and washing hands between patient visits. You have more risk going to the grocery store than you do coming into our office to get treatment to keep yourself healthy.
We do ask that any patients that are immune compromised or having flu like symptoms not come into the office until the restrictions have been eased a little or you feel better. Anyone else that wants or needs care, we are here for you!
If you have any questions, comment below and I'll answer. If you'd like to schedule, give us a call at 303-794-8754.
Thanks,
Dr. Trevor Van Wyk, DC
