Vanity pups is a family oriented business that has been establish for about 12 years. It was first started in a basement in New York city. Michael and I(Shirley) had a vision of what we both wanted for a business and we both fought very hard to try to have a puppy nursery that people can rely on to get a beautiful puppy. We used to Breed American Staffordshire Terriers and Yorkies. I wanted to have a small boutique store and sell accessories for the puppies, unfortunately I could not do that from a basement so we decided to open a puppy nursery. We started with the name of Happy Puppy Kennels and eventually I change the name to Vanity Pups, as I thought that Happy Puppy Kennels was such a long name and I did not really like it. After being establish for 2 yrs in Bayside, Queens NY I move down to Jacksonville, Fl with my son and Michael was traveling back and forth. We wanted to open the Nursery here but that was when the economy went down and we could not afford to open one so we try from our home, I bred my female yorkie (chiqui) and we waited until we can save money and open a Vanity Pups in florida. Now I have been here for almost 2 yrs and the nursery in NY is Michaels and the nursery in Florida is mine.
We work with a small group of breeders around the US, that have the same passion and love for animals that we have. Some of our breeders we have been working with for the past decade. while others for the past few years. Every breeder the we work with has a USDA # that we provide when the baby goes home.
My sister, her children and mine are our puppy testers, all of our babies are fully paper trained and crate trained, ready to go home when they are about 8 to 10 weeks of age. due to smaller tiny puppies they go home when they are 12 to 14 weeks of age.
We do ship world wide. Shipping as and additional change of $300 to $400. This charge includes freight, crate, health certificate, acclamation certificate, etc.
All of pour babies go home with a 7 day guarantee and a 1 year congenital guarantee. Also They all come with a $200 vet care service as long as you take the baby to our vet. This includes:
1) First visit for FREE the remaining visits will be at a discount price
2) The reaming Booster Shots for FREE
3)The rabies shot for FREE
4) Anything goes wrong with the health of the puppy, like kennel cough, diarrhea, ear infection, etc. It will be taking care of free of charge
